Cons and Appearances
Bill Snodgrass has been appearing at fantasy and science fiction conventions--"Cons"--since 2006. Topics about which he has spoken include writing, working with short fiction markets, small-press publishing, marketing, and using the Internet. Bill draws from his experiences leading Double-Edged Publishing to help emerging and beginning writers develop their craft and understand the business of being a writer.
He has also been part of panels dealing with theological and religious issues as related to fantasy and science fiction. His undergraduate studies in physics and math combine with graduate studies in mental health and divinity to facilitate his bridging diverse disciplines and to make them accessible to panel audiences.
He has also been part of literary panels focusing on the life and works of C. S. Lewis. In lighter moments, he has participated in discussions on dwarfs in fantasy, Battlestar Galactica, and pirates on the high seas!

But many of you may not know about all the issues involved, or have questions about certain issues. Join us for a discussion panel about creation science, intelligent design, and science and maybe you’ll have some of those questions answered. Important note: this is a panel, not a debate.
