Future Cons and Appearances

Bill Snodgrass has been appearing at fantasy and science fiction conventions--"Cons"--since 2006. Topics about which he has spoken include writing, working with short fiction markets, small-press publishing, marketing, and using the Internet. Bill draws from his experiences leading Double-Edged Publishing to help emerging and beginning writers develop their craft and understand the business of being a writer.

He has also been part of panels dealing with theological and religious issues as related to fantasy and science fiction. His undergraduate studies in physics and math combine with graduate studies in mental health and divinity to facilitate his bridging diverse disciplines and to make them accessible to panel audiences.

He has also been part of literary panels focusing on the life and works of C. S. Lewis. In lighter moments, he has participated in discussions on dwarfs in fantasy, Battlestar Galactica, and pirates on the high seas!

Previous Cons and Appearances

Word Catchers Writers Group

April 18, 2009
Memphis, Tennessee

I am very excited to be invited to speak at my writers group meeting in Arpil! The topic is pitching to an editor. I hope what I have to say will be helpful!

Nashville, Tennessee

June 5-7, 2009

DEP and I will be in Music City for our second appearance at Hypericon. We'll be running a dealers' booth and taking part in programming.

FenCon VI

Dallas, Texas

September 18-20, 2009

At FenCon V, DEP and I were invited back for 2009--nothing special about that, as pretty much all guests and dealers get invited back. Of course I signed up.

It turns out that next year's Con*Stellation is the same time, so I'll not end up in Texas, but DEP will still be represented.

Con*Stellation28

Huntsville, Alabama

September 18-20, 2009

I have signed up DEP for a dealer booth for 2009, and plan on being part of the programming. My experience in 2008 was awesome, and I am really looking forward to being part of Con*Stellation 28!

This is our HOME CON! DEP and I will be at MidSouthCon 28, and be there big! We will have a dealers' booth as well as take part in programming. See you there!
